The KSHN Board of Directors established an award to recognize individuals from Business, Education, Government, and Labor who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the promotion of occupational safety and health in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  The program allows KSHN members an opportunity to nominate a peer or colleague who has made an extra effort to promote occupational safety and health in Kentucky. The awards are presented at the Annual Governor’s Safety and Health Conference and Exposition.

The KSHN Board of Directors solicits nominations from the entire KSHN membership.  After reviewing the nominations, the Board will select a nominee from Business, Education, Government, and Labor who has demonstrated his or her exemplary commitment to the promotion of occupational safety and health in Kentucky.  Any person in Kentucky is eligible for nomination. The nominee must be actively involved in a cooperative safety and health program or must be known for his or her work in the promotion of occupational safety and health on a state, industry, or worksite level.

We welcome and appreciate your participation.

The deadline for nominations is April 21, 2008.
